Terms of Service

The Service is operated by the ApeDrive operator at https://apedrive.eu (“Operator”). Contact: ahoj@apedrive.eu; privacy: privacy@apedrive.eu.

Company legal details (name, ID, address) will be added when the commercial entity is registered. Adding them does not change the substance of these Terms for users.

ApeDrive is social mobility: a live map among people you know, crew / convoy, meets, feed, chat and related features.

It is not a taxi, stranger ride marketplace, insurer, emergency line or official navigation product. We are not responsible for decisions you make on the road.

You may use the Service if you are at least 16 and able to accept these Terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

You are responsible for accurate account information and for keeping credentials secure. Do not share your account in a way that violates these Terms or others’ rights.

We may refuse registration, limit or terminate accounts for suspected abuse, rule violations or unlawful activity.

You may delete your account anytime via in-app privacy / GDPR tools, or by contacting us.

Treat others with respect. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking, doxxing, spam, fraud, impersonation, malware and any unlawful activity.

Misusing others’ location (unauthorised tracking, coercing sharing, sharing someone else’s location) is prohibited.

Content you post must be lawful and must not infringe third-party rights (including copyright and personality rights).

Location sharing is optional and controlled by you. While driving, use the Service only as allowed by law and safely for you and others.

Maps and routes are informational. Verify traffic and rules yourself; the Operator does not warrant third-party map accuracy (e.g. Mapbox) or outcomes of navigation choices.

In an emergency call local emergency services (e.g. 112 in Slovakia). ApeDrive is not an emergency service.

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, transmit and technically process that content solely to operate the Service (including backups and delivery to other users per your settings).

We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

The ApeDrive brand, design, software and Service materials are protected. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or use them beyond normal use of the Service, except where mandatory law allows.

Voluntary donations / IAP are processed via the App Store or Google Play under their terms. Prices and availability are set by the relevant store.

Refunds / withdrawals follow Apple or Google rules and applicable law. The Operator typically has no direct access to your payment method.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. It may be temporarily unavailable (maintenance, third-party outages, force majeure).

We may change, add or discontinue features. Material Terms updates will be published at https://apedrive.eu/terms (and /en/terms).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, or damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, user-to-user interactions, on-road decisions or third-party content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including EU/Slovak consumer protections).

You may stop using the Service and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms or legal violations, or to protect the Service or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere — except where mandatory consumer law of your EU residence provides otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, nothing here limits your statutory rights.
